Delaware is the Oldest out of Americas children (lol im so gonna get shot for this) even tho...florida was the first...
and technically virginia and a couple other states were first too...but...she was the first state....

She is a humble yet cheerful person with an inferiority complex due to her being overlooked by her siblings and father. The two strands on her head represent the delaware memorial bridge as it is the second longest double suspension bridge in the world, as such she hates it when people grab them as she says "itll hold up traffic!"
she calls her bellybutton Dover for some odd reason and whenever her stomach rumbles she says the races are in town (i fuckin hate when the races come to town) even tho techincally dover is her heart....i consider her to have a weak heart due to Dovers poor....area.
even tho shes only the second smallest state she dreams big. she has a good relationship with Francis considering the main economy of her state is dependant on the french family of Du Pont. She also gets along very well with germany considering he likes the business environment...DE has one of the best business environments in the world! She adores Sweden and considers him her 'Papa'. She isnt on good terms with the netherlands...even tho she has some bumpy points in the relationship with him she likes to call him uncle Holland or uncle dutchy. She loves the beach but hates it when people from other states visit them for too long,(as the old saying goes 'if you've seen our beaches get the f*** out!) she doesnt like it when New Jersey or Maryland come to her beaches. (LONG STORY....my moms friends were talking about it one night) mainly because MD has no reason considering she has a bay, and NJ messes her beaches up with his people being idiotic at times.
She has a good relationship with Pennsylvania and Virginia, and a somewhat good relationship with maryland. Shes very hateful and looks down on DE.
Shes actually the closest to PA due to her living with him for a long time, they still hold strong brother-sister bonds even today.
While she says shes not so nice, her other siblings admit that she is very humble and kind towards them when they visit. She longs for attention but hates tourism, yet loves it. Shes a walking contradiction.
She often gets in your face to get a point across. she often talks about how great ceasar rodney was during conversations at random moments. (i go to caesar rodney high school so woohoo school pride here!)

She loves it when she is on the news because she rarely is,even if its really bad. recently she was hoping to get a story on the news about how much snow she got but was let down that Maryland got the story instead. Then there were the problems with the pedo pediatritions....but i wont get into that.
She still considers Arthur a parental figure along with a few others that didnt lose sight of their heritage. she was actually against leaving arthur at first but eventually decided to leave, she was the first one to kick arthur away. even so she cant really get rid of those eyebrows.....

New Castle is her head representing where all the major corporations and main economy come from (the brains of delaware if you will), kent represents the heart of delaware, this is where you will find all the history and attractions, Sussex represents the calmness of your feet in the sand, many people go to the beaches here and visit the beautiful towns like lewes. (my favorite place in all of delaware personally ) and....if you will....milford considering where it is (in both kent and sussex counties.) its um...yeah....i used to live in DE's vital regions.

Colorado makes fun of DE's accent....apparently she pronounces her O's weird and sometimes says water oddly. She claims she doesnt hear it.

NY once made DE live with him for a while back in the colonial days.

maryland was psycho about getting delware away from PA

DE was first inhabited by Netherlands until the local natives butchered them alive. Then Sweden moved in and built a villa up in present day Wilmington. Due to the swedish influence on DE PA and NJ (NJ hates sweden however) Wilmington and Philidelphias flags are inspired by the swedish flag <33

then sweden got beat up by the netherlands and DE had to live with him again. then England came and kicked him out and made her his...and for awhile PA let her stay with him until they became independant.


So yeah....theres delaware....Alfreds and Arthurs first kid....didnt Alfred think 13 was enough? no....no 50 was enough....he must of been drunk when he had alaska, and hawaii was probably a one night stand LOLOLOLOLOL sorry
